Fundraising
What fundraising opportunities are available? We periodically host movie screening and discussion events to educate the public about our culture and celebrate our history. These micro-fundraising events are low cost, fun, and open to the public. We strongly encourage you to sponsor a young person so that they can learn information that is not taught in their classroom.
Our next event will be during Women's History Month. We will be screening Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am. Visit our home page to purchase a ticket, sponsor a young person, or request a complementary youth ticket.
Do you host a traditional Freedom Fund event? The NAACP East Valley branch is not currently planning a "dinner and awards" style fundraising event. We warmly welcome any member to volunteer to serve as Freedom Fund Chair. Creativity is encouraged! The signature event does not have to be a "chicken dinner" event. Email [email protected] to express your interest and learn more.
